Lesson 6: 

The Promise of Answered Prayer

Lesson Objective: To provide a brief introduction to understand the principle of faith and how to pray effectively.

 Prayer is to:

P  =  Picture,

R  =  Request,

A =  Acknowledge,

Y  =  Yield, and

E   =  Expect God

R  =  Results

Prayer is personal dialogue aimed at defining and directing your purpose for the 

acceptance of destiny in the expansion of the Kingdom of God and for Experiencing theEnjoyment of a Kingdom lifestyle.

3 Laws of Prayer:

  1. Inspiration: God breathed

  2. Imagination: man conceived

  3. Implementation: together produced

Prayer is personal dialogue that resources eternal awareness and promotes divine nature by yielding every expression to the process of righteousness for the restoration of the earth to Kingdom specifications.

 

1.   Believers are instructed to maintain a prayer life.

a.   God always answers yes to prayers made to Him in agreement with His word. 1John 5:14-15

b.   Believers are commanded to pray. Luke 18:1

c.   Prayer must be spoken. Luke 11:1-2

1 Jn 5:14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 

1 Jn 5:15  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 

Luke 18:1  And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 

Luke 11:1  And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. 

Luke 11:2  And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

a.   Binding and Loosing. Matt 18:18

b.   Thanksgiving and Praise. Phil 4:6

c.   Committal. 1Pet. 5:7; 2Cor. 10:5

d.   Intercession. 1Tim 2:1-5

e.   Petition. 1Sam 1:27; Dan. 6:13

f.     Agreement. Acts 15:15; Matt 18:19,20

g.   Dedication and Worship. 1Chron 16:29; Rev. 14:7; Neh 12:27; Ezra 6:16

Mat 18:18  Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Mat 18:19  Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Neh 12:27  And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

Ezr 6:16  And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy,
